| Thankful Thursday | | Thursday, February 28, 2008 |
- I am thankful that I made it through my really rough day without engaging in any self-inflicted harm. It was a very difficult day and forced me to open up my eyes to what's going on in my life that's gotten me to this point.
- I am thankful to have such a wonderful man to share my life with.
- I am thankful that I haven't killed nor assaulted my coworker (no matter HOW FRIGGIN TEMPTING IT IS). She's not worth having assault go on my record or loosing my job over. I just wish she didn't suck. *laughs*
- I am thankful that my Saber-toothed Tiger model arrived today! *bounces around all giddy* These guys are my all time favorite prehistoric animals EVER. I'm looking to buy a replica of a Smilodon's skull eventually.
- I am thankful to be working in my own classroom again today (that's two days in a row now). The students just love it in there and it gets me away from Bhavini.
- I am thankful that I finally got started on my 365 People Challenge (basically, just a summary of 365 people that have had an impact on my life). I'm a lot further along than I thought possible, but still have a ways to go.
- I am thankful for all the people who challenge my creativity and help it grow in new ways. I'm eager to get into some art classes or photography classes eventually.
- I am thankful for the walks with Holly. I love our time in the woods, just us. *smiles*
- I am thankful for the ever sweet (or at least, sweet to ME) Smiggin. Even if he did make it difficult to photograph my Smilodon because he kept rubbing his head on my camera, trying to persuade me I should put it down to pet him. *chuckles*
- I am thankful for each and every single one of my friends. I'd be nothing without 'em.
- I am thankful that there is only one more day left in this work week and then I'm free for two full days. *chuckles* Damn shame I have to go back on Monday.
- I am thankful that some days, I do feel pretty and witty and intelligent.
To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality, seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A revelation of the very Universe.

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.
