In my opinion there is no place safe to hide a journal, especially when you have MANY journals... but I have been burned.
When my daughter was a teenager she found the place that I had all of my journals from years of writting. I am still to this day deeply saddened that she read most of a year of my tragic life's tales. I have not been able to write as freely since then, and journaling was one of my greatest joys. I often wonder if her reading my journal in any way shaped her life..........

Thank you, Kathi Rose and Nona for the warm welcome!
I have a question for everyone? A few, actually. Is there any difference between a journal and a diary? Are diaries supposed to be for deeper, more private thoughts? I like writing about deep stuff and light, humorous stuff in my journal. Also, I worry about other people reading my journal. Where is the best place to keep a journal hidden?
