Ok, continuing on with the Montana Plan.
Montana Continued

I'm thinking a week in early to mid June would be best. My boss will be out early July and I don't want to go any later, as I don't care too much for the biting insects that arrive. *chuckles*
First stop is the Howler's Inn in Bozeman, Montana.
I first choice in rooms is the Western Room. It gives the best views, has a huge bed, and just looks cozy from the photo. It'll run $145 a night, with a two night minimum stay.
Yellowstone National Park is just an hour from the Howler's Inn. It's $25 to get in and as long as we keep the stub, we can go back as many times we wish for the next seven days.
I would like to do the Bear and Wolf Safari there in Yellowstone, but seeing as how that particular safari is a 2 days/1 night safari and runs at $640 PER person, I don't think I'll be doing that one this time around. But the Half Day Safari is far more do-able at just $105 per person. I do plan to inquire what wildlife is typically seen on this one. And if it's just elk and deer and bison with a bear here and there, I think I'll just take my chances with driving around Yellowstone myself.
Glacier National Park is something else I may look into. I'll talk to my Mom about her trip there and see if it would be worth going to.
I would also like to do the two hour horseback riding trail through the 320 Guest Ranch. That runs $58 per person.
My boss gave me some leads on two kennels that she's personally used and highly recommends. And the prices weren't terrible at all! Hopefully we can go check them out relatively soon and get a feel for them.
So all in all, this could shape up to be one hell of a vacation. *smiles* And I do plan to spend one day in bed with the Man with the Soft Brown Eyes. *chuckles*
To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality, seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A revelation of the very Universe.

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.
