Your haiku is especially beautiful. I love the expression you have used here in your entry "my heart feels open and pinging". It really struck a chord with me.

It has been an incredibly full week this week.Wow.I journaled away from the keyboard. Here is what I wrote:"What did I do this week? I worked on my lines, a lot.I made masks - shaping plaster on women's faces.I reflected. I built a fire in my fireplace this morning."I have felt so busy yet I built in a couple very coolmoments into my week. The time by the riverarea at San Miguel Commemorative Grove. Itsamazing how much simple pleasure I get there."My heart feels open and pinging. I am workingon my lines again today. A lot."I paused for a bit to watch the fire dance. I bringthe river inside my home through building fires withwood the river trees offer me. Their smell is somehowdifferent, it seems."They offer themselves up to me, graciously."Last night I comforted Alex. My heart goes out to her.Sometimes it feels as if Divinity puts me inthe exact right places, as if I am entering intoa prayer not of my own making, but of someoneelse's request. I somehow, without knowing, step intothe answer. Like last night, hugging Alex andjust letting her cry."I don't always realize it, but... it is especiallywonder-filled when I do."and then I wrote some haiku..."River branches burnSurrender themselves for meAmber tongue licks their skin"and"Breathing just like thisDoors creak, reflections openMy soul fills my skin."And then, the list:What I did, outwardly:VDay rehearsal, many times with many women(and I loved my woman self in the interim)MaskmakingElleemosynary, Sunday, Monday, TuesdayMany hours studying linesPipes - pipes - new plumbingWritingPhoto takingA little bit of Rilke todayTime at the RiverWent to a New Therapist.... An incredible massage....So, there you have it.... my week.:-)Thank you for the exercise....= + = + = + = + = + = +
