Yeah I think I have pretty bad mad seasonal depression living here in
WA state. Aidan says it seems like I turn into a bit of another person
during winter here. He thinks as soon as I finish classes we should
move to a place that has 1 season summer :) I can live with 2 seasons
hot and hotter! There are 4 seasons here and I can deal with most of it
but winter through early spring takes its toll on me. I suppose growing
up in California and Hawaii where its pretty much always warm and sunny
doesn't help me really. I'm just spoiled from nice warm weather.
Yes my doctor let me know proper diet & lifestyle is condusive to my
mental state. Carbs she said can do a number on you if you eat a lot of
carb laden foods. I don't eat much pasta but brown rice is lovely. So I
do a lot of vegetables and fruit. I like living in the city better than
the suburbs definitely! I need to visit Chicago in summer when its warm
myself. My cousin lives in the burbs outside Chicago which is another
good reason to head over one of these days. If you get a chance to go
have fun and enjoy the lakefront.
