It was nagging the heck out of me to figure this one out
as I know I had had something like it.
The absolute top of the list for honey-like white wine is
Château D'Yquem. It costs an arm and a leg. The infamous
Hannibal Lecter enjoys some in one of his books by Thomas Harris.
BUT we did find another sweet white wine that was soooo close
to Yquem... all I can recall though is that it was a sweet
white and the word ALSACE on the label. And it was definitely
cheaper than $20.
I could really go for some right now!
