Walks
A friend of mine always would tell me....
If Plan A, B or C does not work ...you bloody well have a Plan D in
place. In most of the cases my "Plan D" has always worked for the
better! ( bless her)
Chin up... You will definitely get your groove back..sooon
* smiles and thumbs up to Walks*

> Slipping Away
> Saturday, March 15, 2008 *grumbles softly* I feel the
Montana Vacation slipping beyond my grasp this year. Unless I take
some drastic measures, I don't believe I'll be going.
>
> First off, the time I wanted to go, the room I wanted at the
Howler's Inn is COMPLETELY book. And not just that week...that whole
month AND the month after. *sighs* So I looked at the other rooms
they offer, and I just don't want them. *cue in spoiled brat
attitude here* They don't offer what I want, the same way the
Western Room does.
>
> The next time that room's available, I'd be on my MoonTime, so that
would nix any romantic ideas. Not to mention my teeth and claws tend
to get a bit longer and sharper and my skin gets a bit thinner.
Makes for a not-so-pleasant Wolfie to spend the weekend with.
*chuckles* So the only time that I can go and get that particular
room when I'm not ragging is in late AUGUST. *huge sigh* And that's
NOT when I want to go.
>
> And not to mention that the Man with the Soft Brown Eyes' temp job
is nearing its end, but the hours have drastically increased. I
think he worked 13 hour shifts each day this week and will be pulling
10 hours over the weekend too. *sighs* So he's getting
stressed/worried/
ask him to pitch in his half so I can at least reserve the room for
the 4 days we want it--that's $310 each.
>
> So yes, I feel this vacation slipping away. This is one of the
times that I miss being single. I would have already booked the room
for the days I wanted back in January most likely. And I wouldn't
have to worry about him paying half, or me ending up paying it ALL.
>
> So we discussed possible alternatives. I suggested Chicago for the
Brookfield Zoo and the Shedd's Aquarium...and not to mention that
it's a mere 2 hours away from Wolf Park. I could go back and visit
those wonderful canines once again. But he didn't seem too thrilled
about it at all. He suggested New Mexico, but not any specific place
IN New Mexico. *sighs*
>
> Well, I'm done with this. He has until April 20th (some random
date I just pulled out of my ass) to either be able to pitch in for
the Montana Trip, or come up with a place in New Mexico that I'm ok
with, or I'm planning my own damned vacation and he can just deal
with it.
>
> *chuckles* Yeah, just a tad grumpy with getting my groove all
thrown off here.
>
> To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving
sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality,
seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the
essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A
transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time
was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A
revelation of the very Universe.

> A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She
goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination
prepared to be herself and only herself.
