- I am thankful I have a four-day weekend fast approaching. I'm relishing the thought of not working on Monday or Tuesday.
- I am thankful for the new dream for my future. I've got the poem written about it, and I've got photos printed out to make a visual collage about it. Can't wait to get that all completed.
- I am thankful I located the Daily Journal I had misplaced. I was worried that I had lost it and it covered November through January, so all of that would have been lost. But I found it and breathed a huge sigh of relief.
- I am thankful that Judy's finally got a job--and it doesn't involve children. I wish her all the best!
- I am thankful to have the Man with the Soft Brown Eyes as my partner. It's so nice to have someone who seems to delight in make me happy--and I love the fact that I do the same for him.
- I am thankful for the surge in creativity I've experienced here lately. I'm loving it.
- I am thankful for all the luxuries I get to enjoy in my life--such as my car, hot water, a cellphone, internet, a wide variety of foods, that I can freely express my own opinions, practice whatever religion I choose, and travel as I please.
- I am thankful for the Wolf Park Newsletter that arrived yesterday and that I promptly read it cover to cover. I seriously have to go back and see those canines again. I'm thinking of making it a yearly thing even.
- I am thankful for my job. The rewards and good days generally vastly outweigh the not-so-good days.
- I am thankful Leviathan's gone blue again. She'll be shedding soon and I'm curious to see how much she's grown.
To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality, seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A revelation of the very Universe.

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.
