Thanks for the welcome, Jane !
Greece is great, and the food is fabulous too – most of the time. The only issue I have with Greek food is when it is still looking at me when they serve it on my plate. I will never get used to a full fish with eyes and all on my plate, or a full lamb’s or pork’s head on the table either. I am going there again to celebrate the Greek Orthodox Easter at the end of April, and the one thing I dread is the lamb roasting on the street. It is highly entertaining, especially in smaller towns like Delphi, where the whole town is out on the street and roasting their lambs on their doorsteps. But they eat every single part of the animal (I won’t go into details too much, just in case someone else is as big a sissy as I am about those things, but let’s say I won’t ever again be looking at some of the pictures that were taken there last year!)
I am so looking forward to going to Canada next week. You have a very lucky friend there, raising sled dogs!
Cheers
Anne

And your trip to Canada sounds wonderful too and loaded with activity. I have a friend who raises malamutes and they make great sled dogs.
