I must have missed something somewhere. Why would anyone not be "allowed" to read? As an avid reader I would find this to be so unbelievably difficult!

"There is something about words. In expert hands, manipulated deftly, they take you prisoner. Wind themselves around your limbs like spider silk, and when you are so enthralled you cannot move, they pierce your skin, enter your blood, numb your thoughts. Inside you they work their magic." -- Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale

Sharmila -
I have tried 2 more times to do this and I find myself reading more than I normally would simply because I "can't". LOL It's like being on a deprivation diet! If I am told I "can't" eat something, I crave it even more!
I have tried no TV and that's easier for me. I never knew how much I enjoyed reading until I wasn't "allowed" to do it.
Yesterday, I was all about reading. I read my email, took a professional journal with me to lunch so I could read while waiting for my food, read a book when I got home. LOL
As always,
