1. My favorite comfortable pair of jeans.
2. Funny movies (I was feeling very sick yesterday so while I was
crashed on the sofa hubby put in "Good Luck Chuck" for me. Made me
laugh alot.)
3. The Pyramid Collection catalog. I might not can afford the stuff
in it, but its nice "window" shopping and GREAT for cutting up for my
ATCs and Journal.
4. Long hot baths. I can lose myself in there for hours, turning the
hot water on with my foot when it starts cooling down. Sinking into
the water until only my face is above it.
5. Stephen King Maybe I should feel cliche for liking his novels so
much, but I dont. I really do like most of them. I'm currently
re-reading Misery. This will only be the second time I've read it.
6. The trees in my back yard are blooming and I get the smell of
fresh flowers every time I walk out to take another load of laundry to
the dryer.
7. That (after 2 more loads) I will be caught up with laundry today.
8. Sex with my husband, at 2am when he got home from work, and again
around 3, before he left for work this evening.
9. Sunflower seeds. I've been eating an awful lot of them lately.
10. Knowing that people at work care enough about me to e-mail me
when after I call in sick to see if I'm okay.

To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality, seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A revelation of the very Universe.
