lol i've never been a fan of that breed either, but since my mom is a dog groomer, trainer, handler and breeder (and has been since before i was born), i went through a period as a kid where anything dog related was really cool/awesome/ ____________

Never read the 101 Dalmatians. I never have been a fan of that particular breed. *chuckles*

I've just now gotten around to getting the book.
The movie was one of my favorites at a child. That and Godzilla (I was a highly unusual child). I love the DVD and watch it quite often.

Ahhh, I feel like I'm finally getting back into the swing of things. *smiles*
The three books I read during this roll call:
* Clean and Simple Scrapbooking, by Cathy Zielske
* Broken, by Kelly Armstrong
* The Last Unicorn, by Peter S. Beagle
I highly recommend each if they are what you like. Broken is a werewolf novel.
I'm craving some solitude, so I think I'll retreat a bit this coming week. The MoonTime is coming too, which is just accelerating the desire/need for solitude.
I hope to get a layout or two done in Leviathan's baby book this coming week. Maybe I can work in my Share Journals and find someone who would be interested in swapping journals for a few weeks to write in and muse in.....

Hi to all of our members. It is time for our bi-weekly check in. The list is like journaling. Sometimes life takes over and we don't have time to write like we'd like to, thus the check in.
All members please take a minute to respond to this email. Let us know how you are doing, what's going on with you. How is your writing? How many pages have you completed in your journal since we last had roll call? Read any books you could recommend. Tried any new writing methods?
Step up for roll call........

To hear the sound of the wolf is to experience a singularly moving sensual experience of wilderness. Sound of unreachable quality, seeming weird and inhuman. But not unearthly. For it is of the essence of the creature wolf: of his spirit, his being, his truth. A transcendental song that took form uncounted millennia before time was defined. Something elemental. A living call from the past. A revelation of the very Universe.

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.
