I've been reflecting on a lot of things lately- that's why I've been sort of quiet. My "Season of life" has changed, I am not really ready of it, has sort of put me in a depression- I sure others can relate- I watched a PBS program- this is the review and my question.
Library has this two dvd set of documentary (Colonial House) of people from 2003 going to remote Maine site to experience what the colonist did in the 1600- it was exceedingly thought provoking. Profanity bleeped out -- they went skinny dipping- that was shown a bit, quick shots- nothing really risque- you might not want to show it to little kids or people like my dh- LOL- very conservative- I'd never trade him- oh well. It is great for discussion- relgious freedom, toleration, discrimination - how did they survive back then- we certain as 21st century people's would have starved- peas porage hot/cold anyone- yukey looking dried fish, side salted bacon a little green anyone. They didn't pick all conservative people for project- I am not giving that away- good for discussion. Certainly wouldn't have survived if you didn't have good work ethic. I give it 5 stars. Hope you watch it.
----------What part of history would you like to experience and why? what part would you like to play-------
