There are so many ways I could go with this. Because I am tapped for
time this morning (about to go have a massage) I think I will simply
make a list.
Self esteem is being comfortable crying in public places.
Self esteem is asking for what I need and being openly grateful for
when I receive it.
Self esteem is recognizing my personal gifts and using them to make
the world a better place.
Self esteem is getting up after I have been knocked down. And getting
up again. And getting up again... and again... and again.
Self esteem is a gift I can give to other people through reflecting
their beauty back to them, by hearing their wisdom and speaking it to
them as well, crediting them, by being conscious and aware of others
and myself, every day, as a matter of spiritual practice.
Self esteem is an expression that I haven't heard for a while, I
wonder what is up with that, with it falling out of my personal
vogue... has it been replaced by "Being Conscious"? not as in Self
Conscious in the negative sense we often hear.
Self esteem is the way out of a lot of personal misery.
Hmmmm.
Now I need to go get ready for going out... and I am sure a lot more
will spring up away from the keyboard!
Today is the tomorrow I was so worried about yesterday.
