I have been contemplating this question for a few days
and I have to say that the worst thing that comes to
mind is my own first crack at Korean Kim Chee way back
in, what? Maybe 1984-ish. It was hideous! I looked
and smelled and tasted like something that crept out
of the COMPOST HEAP!
LOL!
At this date, I really cannot imagine what went wrong.
I tried Kim Chee again a few years ago, and it's
great! I have no problem at all making all sorts of
fermented foods, first among them Kim Chee!
But as I was typing the above, I remembered that I
tried Red Bull "energy drink" a few years ago, and I
think that it beats my failed go at Kim Chee. Red
Bull actually burned my mouth! And tasted something
like I would think a combo of antifreeze and
paint-thinner would taste! I cannot IMAGINE how
ANYBODY can drink that XXXX willingly! ;-)
