I’ve been tempted at times to start cutting. To me it seems it would be very meditative - that I could go somewhere else. The urge became especially strong when I first started restraining myself from binge eating. I would eat and read, read and eat, totally oblivious to my surroundings. My world and focus becomes very small and comfortable. No worries, no thoughts, no nothing. Just escape. Is that how cutting feels? I hope I didn’t trigger anything.
